NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK, employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non‑clinical professions and job roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.

The shift pattern for this post is Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm. Effective 1 April 2026 the full‑time working hours will be 36 hours per week.

We are seeking a full‑time, permanent band 6 Senior Physical Health Nurse for the Complex Needs Service based in Glasgow city centre. The post holder will provide specialist assessment, treatment and care to a high‑risk population presenting with multiple and complex health needs. Extensive outreach to various locations within Glasgow City will be undertaken to encourage client engagement. The role requires managing a complex physical, mental health and addiction caseload, identifying barriers and supporting access to mainstream services.

The incumbent will provide support and supervision to band 5 nursing staff and promote collaborative work across multiple agencies and services. Relevant post‑registration experience is essential, and candidates must be a registered Adult Nurse with a live NMC UK PIN.
