Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join the Plastic Surgery Unit based at Glasgow Royal Infirmary. The Plastic Surgery Unit covers the West of Scotland. As well as consultant clinics, patients attend the OPD following surgery for skin cancer, breast cancer and traumatic injuries. Many patients have had major reconstruction.

Based in the OPD is a wound care clinic with RNs providing wound care for the patient group we care for. Within the service, is a multi‑disciplinary team with medical staff, nurses, healthcare support workers, physiotherapists and specialist nurses. We also work closely with our periphery hospitals and refer our patients to community colleagues based in local treatment rooms and District Nursing Teams.

Responsibilities

Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to work to high standards in a fast‑paced environment. You will be flexible, forward‑thinking and able to work effectively within a changing and dynamic environment.

Qualifications

You need to have a live NMC UK pin in order to be considered for this post.
