OpportunityExciting opportunity has arisen to join our Emergency Department in the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Glasgow. The Emergency Department is a dynamic and evolving specialty. We are seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic registered nurses to join our amazing team.
Responsibilities- work well within the multidisciplinary team in order to deliver a high standard of patient focused care.
- maintain high professional standards and excellent communication skills.
- be self-motivated and ready to develop their clinical skills with the support of our existing strong leadership and our dedicated nurse education team.
Whilst being a busy department we are friendly and approachable with a positive relationship across the whole team. We are excited to welcoming new members to our existing team.
Role detailsThere are full-time positions (37hrs) available and we can consider part-time hours. We work on rotational 12hrs shifts including days/ nights and weekends and staff have the opportunity to self-roster. NHSGGC encourages applicants from all sectors of the community. As from 1st April 2026, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part-time hours will be reduced pro-rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
