Become a Management Committee Member at Molendinar Park Housing Association
Hybrid/or attend meetings in person in our Office in Gallowgate, Glasgow

Are you eager to make a positive impact to a small community-based housing association? Join us as a voluntary Management Committee member and help shape the future of Molendinar Park Housing Association, a small but high performing RSL that prides itself on the great working relationship between Staff and Management Committee.

Your Commitment to Us

We are seeking individuals passionate about social housing who possess skills that can complement our already experienced Committee.

Your commitment involves attending about ten evening meetings (third Tuesday of the Month) a year and participating in training sessions to support your role.

We are looking for committee members who are genuinely committed who believe strongly in small community based social housing, communities guiding our agenda and putting tenants and communities first. The ideal candidate will be open-minded and willing to listen carefully, respect different opinions and lived experiences, and seek or take advice when needed. We value people who can see the big picture, think strategically, and take a long-term view.

We want you to offer us a fresh perspective, creative ideas, and constructive challenge. You will have a willingness to continue learning, develop new skills, and grow in the role for the benefit of our tenants and communities.

Our Commitment to You

This is a voluntary position, and while it's unpaid, members can claim travel expenses and benefit from our training program.

We have a strategic aim to ‘invest in our people’, we aim to ensure that our Committee Members get the opportunities to develop skills that are beneficial to their professional and personal life.

If you are looking to develop your experience in strategy, risk, audits and decision-making, this is an ideal opportunity for you.
