Marketing Manager – Brand Experience
Glasgow (4 days in office 1 day from home)
£40,000–£45,000 depending on experience
This isn’t a “wait for the brief” role. You’ll be expected to spot gaps, ask smart questions and take ownership of improving how the offer is brought to market.
This is a hands‑on marketing role with real ownership, sitting at the heart of a growing brand experience team within a well‑established retail business. You’ll be responsible for how a specialist brand activation offering is positioned, explained and evidenced, making it easier to understand, trust and buy into.
Day to day, you’ll work closely with the wider marketing team to bring structure and clarity to messaging, proof points and customer journeys. That means shaping how the proposition shows up across digital touchpoints, sales materials and client conversations, and making sure the quality of delivery is clearly reflected in the way it’s marketed. You’ll spend time getting under the skin of the business, how campaigns are sold, delivered and experienced, then use that insight to build a confident, repeatable marketing approach that supports commercial growth.
About the companyYou’ll be joining a well‑established retail business with a strong reputation for delivering high‑quality, large‑scale brand activations. The business works closely with brands to turn physical space into memorable, commercially effective brand experiences, partnering with well‑known brands and agencies across premium environments.
They’re at an interesting stage of growth: the foundations are solid, the work is strong, and the focus now is on telling their story better. Marketing investment is increasing, systems and digital journeys are being improved, and there’s a genuine appetite to do things properly rather than quickly. The culture is collaborative, ambitious and grounded — fast‑moving, but not chaotic.
About youThis role will suit a commercially minded marketer who enjoys simplifying complex propositions and building confidence through clarity and proof. You’re likely to have experience in B2B marketing, brand, proposition or commercial marketing, and you’re comfortable working closely with Sales rather than sitting in a silo.
You’ll bring good judgement, curiosity and a strong sense of ownership. You don’t need to tick every box, but you should be someone who enjoys getting close to the detail, following things through, and improving how a business shows up externally. This is not a campaign‑only or channel‑specific role — it’s for someone who wants to shape the bigger picture.
