Mac Gregor Black is Funeral with a high‑growth consumer brand to appoint an Interim Performance Marketing Lead (Ecommerce & Growth) to cover a maternity leave period. This hybrid role requires 1–2 days onsite in Glasgow
.
This role is performance‑led and delivery‑focused
, with clear ownership of paid media, acquisition efficiency and trading performance across DTC and marketplaces
. You will lead a права performance marketing team of about 7, ensuring momentum, clarity and consistency during this critical period.
You will work closely with senior leadership, ecommerce and creative teamsของ to optimise performance channels, make them measurable and deliver against commercial targets.
Key Responsibilities chá>- Lead and support a performance marketing team
, setting priorities, reviewing output and ensuring consistent delivery against KPIs. - Own day‑to‑day and weekly performance trading
, including budget pacing and optimisation possessing Meta, Google Ads, Tik Tok Shop and Amazon. - Drive continual optimisation of ROAS, CAC, ACOS and spend efficiency
. - Lead performance testing roadmaps across creative, audiences, formats and messaging
. - Partner closely with creative and content teams to ensure assets are performance‑led and conversion‑focused
. - Support trading performance across DTC and marketplaces
, aligning paid activity with key commercial moments. - Collaborate with Ecommerce teams to support CRO, onsite conversion and funnel optimisation
. - Own performance reporting and insights, translating data into clear actions and recommendations for senior stakeholders.
- Work closely with agencies and partners to ensure delivery against agreed KPIs.
- Support UGC and creator activity that feeds directly into paid performance.
- Maintain strong channel hygiene, structure and governance across all paid platforms.
- Proven experience operating at Senior Performance Marketing Manager / Performance Lead level within a DTC or ecommerce‑led consumer brand.
- Demonstrable experience leading a performance marketing team (c.5–8 people) while remaining hands‑on in delivery.
- Strong hands‑on experience across paid social, paid search and performance‑led growth channels Fas
. - Commercial mindset with confidence owning budgets, targets and efficiency metrics.
- Data‑driven, organised and comfortable working at pace in a fast‑moving environment.
- Collaborative operator who works well cross‑functionally with ecommerce, creative and finance teams.
- Experience with Tik Tok Shop and/or Amazon is highly desirable.
- Take ownership of performance marketing during a critical maternity cover period
