A Multi-Skilled Technician delivers best-in-class planned, preventative, and corrective maintenance activities across Spirit Supply Processing on the Westthorn site, which comprises of Blend Centre,3 x Tank farms, Tanker stations, Spirit preparation area, Vatting Halls, Demin plant and Chill plant .You will contribute to Continuous Improvement activities at Bacardi UK OC to ensure that :

• Key metrics within Spirit Supply Operations are achieved
• Key maintenance metrics within Spirit Supply Engineering are achieved
• Spirit Supply assets, equipment and engineering systems are aligned with Bacardi
• standards
• Spirit Supply equipment is maintained to thebest possible standard to ensure availability is
• maximized to allow for optimal asset performance
• All assets are inspected and maintained tomeet legislative standards
• Strive to improve performance in line with World Class Manufacturing standards

• Must have served a recognised apprenticeship as a minimum.

• A multiskilled role requiring both electrical and mechanical skills, with a stronger emphasis on electrical.
• Comparable position within the spirits industry, or FMCG engineer, or service engineer, or commissioning engineer.

• Demonstrable experience working safely in a manufacturing / processing environment within a maintenance department or comparable technical services team.
• Excellent diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Able to work individually and/or as part of a team
• Working in a World Class environment delivering proven process improvements.

• 18th Edition, and SVQ level 3 (or equivalent) in an electrical field (Essential)
• Comp Ex Ex 1-4 (desirable not essential)
• Proficient in interpreting and explaining electrical schematic drawings
• Knowledge of electrical sensors and their applications.
• PLC, Control systems and electrical panel fault finding
• Experience of instrumentation and PID loops.
• Experience working on 3ph motor controls, VSDs, and Servo drive control systems
• Experience working with a DCS system or large BPCS/SCADA systems (Ideally PCS7 but any Siemens experience is advantageous)

• Comp Ex Ex11 (desirable not essential)
• Sound mechanical fitting techniques and skills.
  
  - Pumps, Valves, Pipework, Hoses, etc
• Working with Fluid transfer systems / Pneumatic systems / Hydraulic system

• Maintain responsibility and accountability through personal commitment and behaviour.
• Have flexibility (including overtime if required) and maintain high levels of self-motivation to achieve high standards of performance and behaviour
