Computer Numerical Control Machinist

Location: Near sever Glasgow

Contract: 12 months

Clearance: BPSS (can start on BPSS)

We are recruiting multi‑skilled CNC Machinists to support the manufacture of high‑quality aerospace components on a long‑term contract near Glasgow.

• Manufacture precision aerospace components using a range of CNC machine tools
• Self‑inspection of work, both visual and dimensional
• Loading and unloading of process equipment
• Feedback to Manufacturing Engineers and wider team
• Maintain high quality and safety standards at all times
• Work within strict HS&E guidelines
• Operate effectively in a high‑volume, target‑driven manufacturing environment
• Completed advanced modern engineering apprenticeship
• NVQ / SVQ / City & Guilds Level 3 (or equivalent) – certification required
• Strong CNC machining experience
• Background in Grinding, Milling and/or Turning (gr høre highly desirable)
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings
• Experience with calibration, dimensional and visual inspection
• Ability to approve work and sign off components

• CNC machining (open to varied sector backgrounds)
• Fanuc and Siemens controls
• 3‑axis and 5‑axis machining
• Strong attention to detail and right attitude to quality and teamwork
