Mazco Recruitment are working with a well-established precision engineering company in Glasgow who are looking to add an experienced CNC Turner to their growing team.
This is a day‑shift role offering excellent rates, regular overtime paid at time and a half, and long‑term stability within a modern machining environment.
The Role- Programming, setting, and operating CNC lathes
- Working primarily with Doosan CNC lathes
- Using Fanuc controls
- Producing precision components to tight tolerances
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Carrying out basic inspections and quality checks
- Proven experience as a CNC Turner
- Strong Fanuc programming skills (editing at the machine essential)
- Experience with Doosan lathes preferred
- Ability to work independently from drawings
- High attention to detail and quality
- Up to £22 per hour (DOE)
- Overtime paid at x1.5
- Stable day shift hours
- Modern workshop and well–maintained machines
- Long‑term, secure position with progression potential
