We’re looking for a Pensions Risk & Governance Senior Manager to lead risk oversight and governance for one of the UK’s largest occupational pension schemes.

This is a high-impact role offering hybrid working from Glasgow (3 days in-office per week) and the chance to drive governance at the highest level.

• As a senior member of the in‑house pensions team, you’ll drive the development and implementation of a robust risk framework, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements such as the Pensions Regulator’s General Code and Own Risk Assessment.
• You’ll advise trustees and executives, manage emerging risks—including cyber and data protection—and lead strategic initiatives to strengthen governance and resilience.
• This role combines strategic leadership, risk management, and stakeholder engagement, giving you exposure to senior decision‑makers and the opportunity to deliver governance excellence in a complex, evolving environment.

• Extensive experience managing risk frameworks for large UK occupational Defined Benefit pension schemes.
• Deep knowledge of UK pensions legislation and regulatory codes.
• Proven ability to advise trustee boards and executive teams with strong communication skills.
