Design Manager

Are you a Construction Project Manager looking to Pivot into Design Management? £100million Project Glasgow About the Role We are looking for a Design Manager who will take full ownership of the design process on a landmark £100 million project in Glasgow. This role is about accountability—ensuring that every design decision aligns with project objectives, deadlines, and quality standards. You will be the driving force behind design delivery, leading coordination and problem-solving across all disciplines.

Key Responsibilities Own the design process from concept to completion, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of all design outputs. Act as the single point of accountability for design coordination, approvals, and issue resolution. Proactively manage design risks, dependencies, and interfaces to avoid delays or cost overruns. Lead stakeholder engagement, ensuring clarity and commitment to design requirements. Champion value engineering and innovation while maintaining compliance with regulations and standards.

Ideal Candidate Profile Background:
Strong foundation in Project Management or Engineering, with proven experience in design leadership.

Experience:

Minimum 5 years managing design on large-scale construction or infrastructure projects.

Skills:
