• Take ownership of the reservations function and lead from the front.
• Oversee the full reservations process, from enquiry handling to confirmation and issue resolution.
• Manage all bookings across direct and third-party channels, ensuring accurate availability and preventing over bookings.
• Efficiently manage OTAs to drive occupancy and performance within Glasgow.
• Implement pricing and selling strategies across all market segments, working closely with Commercial and Sales teams.
• Lead, recruit and train the reservations team, including rota planning and shift management.
• Conduct appointments and show-rounds for prospective clients, supporting revenue opportunities.
• Apply commercial judgement, considering total revenue, lifetime value and displacement when assessing enquiries.
• Ensure full compliance with hotel policies and procedures.

• Proven experience in a busy hotel Reservations environment.
• Background within a branded hotel group would be advantageous.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Confidence analysing market data and competitor performance.
• The ability to lead, motivate and develop a high-performing team.
• Strong PMS knowledge and a solid understanding of revenue management.
• Experience working closely with sales functions, including Group Sales.
