Are you looking to join a growing Construction Contractor and spearhead their Commercial department?
A long-established, family-owned organisation within the construction and regeneration sector is seeking to appoint a Commercial Director. This leadership role provides the opportunity to shape and influence the commercial direction of the organisation over the coming months and years.

As Commercial Director, you will lead the commercial function across the business, ensuring robust commercial governance while supporting long‑term strategic objectives. You will oversee contractual negotiation and implementation with clients and subcontractors, ensuring effective risk management and the protection of commercial interests.
A core focus of the role will be developing the commercial capability of a well‑established team of Surveyors. You will enhance skills across pricing, margin control, contract management, and risk mitigation. Strong leadership, coaching, and people‑development skills are essential.
This role is ideal for an established Commercial Director seeking a fresh challenge within a values‑driven business, or for an experienced Commercial Lead/Senior Commercial Manager ready to step into a strategic leadership position.
You will bring:
- Proven commercial expertise within construction
