Our client has a great reputation in the construction / civils industry and is seeking a motivated Hire Desk Manager to lead and manage a busy, hire desk. You will lead a team and oversee day-to-day depot operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and outstanding service delivery.

• Reporting into the General Manager
• Supporting depot operations while maximising sales performance and profitability.
• Performance reviews and coaching to create a high performing team environment.
• Manage daily hire desk activities and improve customer service standards
• Maintain excellent service delivery and coordinate transport activities within the depot
• Ensure efficient and cost-effective use of vehicles and hauliers
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, promoting a strong safety culture
• Ensure accurate stock records
• Maintain operational availability

• Minimum of 2 years hire desk experience
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
• Experience in plant hire, construction or related industries
