Join Barclays as a Project Manager within the Customer Due Diligence Modernisation team, where you'll play a key role in driving change and delivering complex change and transformation initiatives. You will lead the execution of large-scale projects, and support additional initiatives, gaining exposure to a broader portfolio.

To be successful in this role, you should have:
  • Transformational Change Delivery Expertise
    Proven ability to deliver complex, large‑scale change initiatives on time and within budget, particularly within technology‑enabled environments
  • Familiarity with Agile Methodologies
    Practical experience working within Agile project delivery structures
  • Strong Stakeholder & Communication Skills
    Ability to influence senior stakeholders, clearly articulate status, and manage cross‑functional relationships effectively
Other highly valued skills include:
  • Customer Due Diligence / Financial Crime Domain Knowledge
    Understanding of CDD, onboarding, or financial crime prevention processes
  • Experience with AI, Automation, or Data‑Driven Solutions
    Exposure to modern technical delivery approaches such as AI, Dev Ops, and automation
  • Project & Risk Management Capability
    Demonstrated experience managing scope, risks, issues, and resources for high‑value projects, ensuring governance and control standards are met

Accountabilities
  • Scope Management:
    Manage a single project with specific, defined objectives, deadlines, and deliverables. Their focus is on completing the project on time, within scope, and on budget.

    Operate more tactically, focusing on day‑to‑day management of resources, schedules, and deliverables for their individual project.

    Work with a shorter, more defined timeframe as projects have a set beginning and end.
  • Stakeholder Management:
    Primarily manage stakeholders related to their specific project, ensuring communication and expectations are clear for the project’s deliverables.
  • Risk and Issue Management:
    Focus on risks and issues specific to their project and works to mitigate them within the project’s scope.
  • Resource Management:
    Manage resources for their individual project, ensuring that the project team has the necessary skills, tools, and time to complete the work.
  • Financial Management:
    Focus on managing the budget of their specific project, ensuring it is completed within the financial constraints.
  • Metrics:
    Measure success based on the timely completion of project deliverables within scope, time, and budget.
  • Change Management:
    Manage changes that directly impact their specific project, including scope changes, timelines, or resource allocation adjustments.
Vice President Expectations
  • Contribute or set strategy, drive requirements and make recommendations for change. Plan resources, budgets, and policies; manage and maintain policies/processes; deliver continuous improvements and elevate breaches of policies/procedures.
  • Be a subject matter expert within own discipline and will guide technical direction. They will lead collaborative, multi‑year assignments and guide team members through structured assignments, identify the need for the inclusion of other areas of specialization to complete assignments.
