What You’ll Do- Your number-one priority is resolving customer and environmental issues, taking control of situations, investigating problems and delivering solutions that satisfy customers and keep them updated.
- Carry out routine checks and maintenance on wastewater network infrastructure, plant, equipment and vehicle checks, always prioritising health and safety.
- Prepare accurate reports across performance and productivity systems.
- Work as part of a team, performing your turn on the standby rota for out-of-hours work.
- Self‑motivated with a strong team focus.
- Basic IT skills for using digital equipment and apps.
- Report writing skills – clear, concise, accurate.
- A full, clean driving licence (mandatory).
- Nice to have: experience with sewer networks and monitoring equipment.
- Understanding of health and safety principles for site work or basic ground handling.
- NSRWA qualification is a plus but not required.
This role will be a Grade 4, with a starting salary of £30,440. Performance‑driven pay progression can raise the salary up to £35,260.
The role includes a 365/24/7 standby rota and overtime pay (time and a half after 35 hours in a week).
