CBW are seeking a skilled and motivated Air Conditioning Engineer to join a well‑established specialist, forward‑thinking Air Conditioning contractor operating across Scotland’s Central Belt. This is a mobile role supporting a diverse portfolio of end‑user clients, delivering high‑quality service, maintenance, and fault resolution on air‑conditioning systems.

• Salary up to £45,000 DOE
• Guaranteed additional earnings – approx. £600 per year from call‑out
• 36‑hour working week – reduced hours compared to the standard 40‑hour week
• On‑call rota:
  Approximately every 6 weeks (can be less)
• Call‑out pay – £100 weekend allowance + minimum 4 hours paid per call‑out
• Overtime – Saturday:
  Time and a half, Sunday:
  Double time

You will work directly with end‑user clients across a range of sectors, including:

• Hospitality
• Retail
• Pharmaceutical
• Commercial environments and specialist facilities
• Covering predominantly the Central Belt of Scotland with occasional travel further North

• Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on air‑conditioning systems
• Reactive maintenance and breakdown response
• Accurate fault finding, diagnostics, and repair
• Striving for first‑time fix wherever possible
• Completing work safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
• Maintaining clear communication with clients and internal support teams

• F‑Gas Category 1 certification
• NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (or equivalent)
• Proven experience working as a mobile Air Conditioning Engineer
• Strong PPM and fault‑finding experience across commercial systems
• Full UK driving licence
