RoleAn opportunity has arisen for a 1-3 PQE Private Client Solicitor to join a highly regarded independent Scottish law firm in their welcoming Glasgow office. This role offers the chance to become part of a close-knit, high-performing team with a reputation for delivering practical, high-quality advice across the full spectrum of private client matters.
You will manage a varied and interesting caseload involving complex estate planning, inheritance tax advice, trusts, wills, powers of attorney and executries. The firm also acts for a number of high-net-worth individuals and families, so you will gain exposure to sophisticated, high-value work from the outset.
In this position, you will work directly with experienced partners and senior associates, benefiting from ongoing mentorship and support as you develop your technical skills and client-handling expertise. You will have the opportunity to handle client relationships early in your career and take ownership of matters, including drafting legal documents, assisting with guardian ships and incapacity issues and providing succession planning advice.

YourExperience
- 1-3 PQE with some Private Client experience
- Strong understanding of wills, trusts, executries and tax planning
- Confident communicator, able to explain complex matters clearly to clients
- Detail-oriented, with excellent drafting and organisational skills
- Self-motivated and capable of managing a varied caseload effectively
- Passionate about providing practical, people-focused legal advice
