Senior Residential Conveyancing Solicitor – Edinburgh or Glasgow

Location: Edinburgh or Glasgow

Position Type: Permanent

Working Hours: Full-time (35 hours/week), with flexibility or part-time options available

Experience Level: 8+ years PQE

A well‑established and forward‑thinking law firm is seeking a highly experienced Residential Conveyancing Solicitor to join their dynamic team in either Edinburgh or Glasgow. This is a client‑facing role with supervisory responsibilities, offering the opportunity to work on complex transactions and with high‑net‑worth clients.

• Manage a varied caseload including sales, purchases, and remortgages
• Deliver high‑quality legal advice and client care
• Supervise junior conveyancers and contribute to team development
• Maintain accurate time recording and meet fee income targets
• Stay current with legal developments and regulatory requirements
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to strategic planning

• Strong technical expertise in residential conveyancing
• Proven ability to work independently and manage complex matters
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience supervising junior staff and supporting departmental leadership
• Commercial awareness and ability to build client relationships
• Active involvement in business development and networking
