Overview
Allstaff Office Division are delighted to bring to the market the role of IT Support Technician. This is a temporary role for approx. six months potentially longer.
Responsibilities- Assist with IT Management as needed to maintain IT systems and support end users throughout the group.
- Daily responsibilities include supporting end users to troubleshoot a variety of IT related issues, including ERP system and company software use.
- Carry out network monitoring, resolve faults with PCs, printers, phones and other network devices. Software and hardware installations/upgrades.
- Maintain backup routines, server maintenance, websites and general marketing duties, and a wide variety of other IT related tasks.
- Strong interest in IT and technology, and keenness to learn new skills.
- Good problem solving skills and familiarity with Microsoft Windows 11, MS Office Excel/Word/Outlook.
- Previous experience in an IT Support role would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of:
Windows Server 2019/2025, Backup/Disaster Recovery, Business Central (or another ERP system), telephony systems, cyber security, website design/PHP, networking, SQL Server, Active Directory, Office 365, Ubuntu OS.
This is an ideal position for someone with a strong interest in IT.
Although primarily based in our head office, there may be occasional requirement to travel to our other sites.

Hours:
Monday to Thursday 8:15am–4:45pm;
Friday 8:15am–12:15pm
Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 per annum, depending on experience
