I’m hiring a Senior Platform Engineer (Linux / AWS) into a Glasgow-based firm operating in global financial markets. The infrastructure here supports time-sensitive, high-impact activity. When something moves, it matters. When something breaks, it gets fixed properly. You’ll be someone who enjoys digging into:

• Linux and Windows in live production environments
• Virtualised infrastructure
• AWS within a hybrid estate
• Automation with tools like Ansible
• Enterprise networking and security
• Monitoring, resilience and recovery planning

This is broad, hands-on engineering. Part operational responsibility, part project delivery. Often the escalation point. You’ll be trusted to think, to improve and to take ownership of complex systems without being micromanaged.
