Position: IT Manager
Location: Glasgow
Offer: Up to 50,000 DOE
Engagement: Permanent
Hours: Monday–Friday, 08:30–17:30 with flexibility to meet business demands and project needs.

• Be the guardian of IT services, focusing on proactive and preventative strategies to minimise downtime.
• Manage bespoke applications on the factory floor, ensuring product tracing and labelling accuracy.
• Oversee the IT landscape to maintain a resilient and secure infrastructure in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
• Lead the continuous development of site initiatives, including infrastructure upgrades and maximizing the benefits of digital tools for end users.
• Develop and test disaster recovery plans aligned with business continuity goals.
• Maintain a diligent record of IT challenges and ensure timely and effective resolution.

• Proven track record in IT support and project management with a solid foundation in Microsoft technologies.
• Strong technical background: networking (switch/router configuration, cabling), server management, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and domain management tools.
• Experience leading teams and delivering digital transformation initiatives.
• Problem-solving mindset with adaptability to change and drive for improvement.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and collaborate in a bustling manufacturing setting.
• ITIL qualifications or knowledge, indicating a structured approach to IT service management.
• Full UK driving licence and access to personal transport, ready to be on-site when needed.
