We are seeking an Engineer for an on‑site contract role based in Glasgow. The Engineer will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing IT systems to ensure seamless business operations. Day‑to‑day responsibilities involve diagnosing and resolving technical issues, configuring and maintaining hardware and software, and enhancing system security. You will collaborate directly with clients to deliver tailored IT solutions and ensure high standards of customer satisfaction.

• Technical expertise in IT system troubleshooting, hardware setup, and software configuration
• Knowledge in network security, recovery systems, and business continuity planning
• Proficiency in IT support, customer service, and handling client‑specific technical needs
• Strong analytical and critical‑thinking skills to resolve issues effectively
• Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to evolving technical requirements
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco) are highly preferred
• Prior experience in the IT services domain, particularly with a focus on enhancing operational efficiency
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with clients and colleagues
