Job Description
Propel operational success with your expertise in technology support and a commitment to continuous improvement. As a Technology Support III team member in Corporate Technology, you will ensure the operational stability, availability, infrastructure management and performance of our production application flows. Encourage a culture of continuous improvement as you troubleshoot, maintain, identify, and resolve production service interruptions for all internally and externally developed systems, leading to a seamless user experience.
Job Responsibilities- Provides end‑to‑end application and infrastructure service delivery to enable successful business operations of the firm
- Supports the day‑to‑day maintenance of the firm’s systems to ensure operational stability and availability
- Assists in the monitoring of production and similar environments for anomalies and addresses issues utilizing standard observability tools
- Identifies issues for escalation and communication, and provides solutions to the business and technology stakeholders
- Analyzes complex situations and trends to anticipate and solve incident, problem, and change management in support of full‑stack technology systems, applications, or infrastructure
- Designs system automation, builds helpers and tools to reduce the human toil of application support
- Extensive experience or equivalent expertise troubleshooting, resolving, and maintaining information technology services
- Demonstrated knowledge of applications or infrastructure in a large‑scale technology environment both on premises and public cloud
- Experience in observability and monitoring tools and techniques, setting them up for large scale applications and services
- Incident management – Basic working knowledge of production incident management, root cause analysis (RCA) and related follow‑ups to ensure closure of the issue
- Collaboration with all levels of seniority including developers, business users and global production management teams
- Hands‑on experience with scripting languages, programming languages and debugging for production issues and system automations
- Hands‑on experience with private/public cloud, Kubernetes or equivalent
- Strong understanding of infrastructure costing, with the ability to apply tuning mechanisms that optimize both performance and cost efficiency
- Experience with Service Now platforms
- Understanding of the software life cycle development
- Knowledge of document management systems
