Legal Project Manager – AVP 6 Months FTC

Are you interested in driving value and efficiency in legal operations? Barclays is seeking a Legal Project Manager to join our Legal COO, Legal Supplier Management team. In this pivotal role, you’ll manage a portfolio of complex legal matters, working closely with law firms, internal legal teams, Finance, and Technology.

You will deliver end‑to‑end project management for high‑value legal matters, from scoping and planning to cost monitoring and milestone tracking. This role also involves advising internal counsel and stakeholders on best practices, innovative pricing models, and alternative resourcing. Other role responsibilities include implementing LPM best practices, ensuring adherence across major matters, driving process improvements, and championing new technologies across the Legal function.

• Advise internal counsel and stakeholders on best practices, pricing models, and alternative resourcing.
• Implement LPM best practices and ensure adherence across major matters.
• Drive process improvements and champion new technologies across the Legal function.
• Coordinate with law firms, internal legal teams, Finance, and Technology to ensure timely and within‑budget delivery.

• Proven experience in legal project management or a similar role.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to innovate, solve complex problems, and drive continuous improvement.
• Experience with legal operations, cost control, and technology implementation is a plus.
• Strong risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, and digital and technology skills.

This role can be based in Glasgow or London.
