Part Time Breakfast Team Member – voco Grand Central Hotel

We are looking for our next Breakfast Team Member to join us in creating a warm voco welcome for our guests.

Our locally curated voco Grand Central stands strong in Glasgow’s city centre, bringing together un‑stuffy service and a warm Glasgow welcome to our business and leisure guests alike. Holding the biggest ballroom in Scotland with natural light and our iconic award‑winning Champagne Central Bar, our hotel is steeped in over 140 years of culture, history and storytelling with relaxing spaces for guests to enjoy.

As a Breakfast Team Member, your main duties will be greeting guests with a friendly and warm welcome, seating them for breakfast, explaining our breakfast concept and taking hot drink orders. You will also make sure our breakfast station is kept clean and organised at all times, working closely with the kitchen team to provide an excellent breakfast service and consistently improving our breakfast scores.

• Availability to work 6.30am-3.00pm including weekends
• Experience as a waiter/waitress or server ideally in a 4 or 5
  * hotel
• An eye for detail – ensuring our breakfast service meets voco standards
• An un‑stuffy, thoughtful approach to service – showcasing personality and hospitality to guests
• An interest in our environment and sustainability – innovation and ways to become more sustainable
• Overall, readiness to work in our voco team and provide our guests with a warm Glasgow welcome

• Financial security – £12.60 per hour (£26,208.00 per annum FTE), guaranteed hours, paid overtime, free meal on shift, paid holidays, subsidised unsocial hour travel support and enhanced sick pay. Tronc paid monthly if in eligible role.
