Purpose of the RoleWe are looking for a Hospitality & Cleaning Operative to deliver day-to-day Hospitality and Cleaning services across the site. The key focus of this role is to ensure all services are delivered confidently, efficiently, and in a timely manner — with minimal disruption to customers.
Key Responsibilities- To assist as directed with all aspects of delivery and presentation to the Company's standards.
- To provide an efficient and friendly service to customers in all areas of the catering & cleaning department
- To ensure that food is presented and served in a clean, hygienic environment.
- To assist at service times by serving the customer at the counter as directed to the Company's standard.
- To communicate well with customers and always demonstrate a helpful attitude.
- To undertake all aspects in cleaning equipment: walls up to 6ft, floors, fixtures, fittings, catering equipment, cutlery, crockery, glassware etc., to the Company’s standard according to the cleaning rota or as directed
- To prepare and deliver hospitality.
- Washing & polishing of glasses in the bar area ready for functions
- Shift flexibility to support evening functions
- Manual handling of tables and chairs to set up facilities ready for functions.
- Comply and complete with all FS, Allergen and H&S due diligence.
- Fill and clean coffee machines, record on service cards.
- Check deliveries and temperatures on delivery.
- To assist with site store deliveries
- Deliver exceptional customer and client service.
- Maintain compliance with food safety and H&S standards.
- Contribute positively to team performance.
- Support continuous improvement in service quality.
- Previous food handling experience preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Good understanding of Health & Safety practices.
- High standards of personal hygiene and presentation.
- Reliable team player with a flexible approach to work.
