Night Porter Dalmeny Park House Hotel Part-Time (23 Hours) – Extra hours available during peak times and holidays

We are looking for a reliable and proactive Night Porter to join our team at Dalmeny Park House Hotel. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment. You will ensure smooth hotel operations during the night shift, provide excellent customer service, and maintain high safety and service standards for all guests.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Set up wedding and event spaces for weddings, conferences, and other occasions.
  • Respond to guest requests and assist with late check-ins/outs, ensuring all needs are met.
  • Ensure the safety and security of the hotel and its guests through regular checks of public areas and rooms.
  • Assist with luggage, deliveries, and help maintain a clean, organized hotel environment.
  • Provide bar service to guests during the night, ensuring a welcoming and friendly atmosphere.
  • Complete night audit duties, balancing financial records for the day.
  • Report maintenance issues or security concerns to the relevant departments.
What We're Looking For:
  • Experience in a similar role, ideally in the hotel or hospitality industry.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage and interact positively with guests.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Flexibility to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Excellent attention to detail and proactive problem-solving skills.
  • A professional and friendly demeanour, with a strong work ethic.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • A driver's license and access to your own vehicle is preferred.
