Gynaecology Clinical Nurse Specialist

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team within Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre within our Clinical Nurse Specialist Team – Gynaecology Team.

Shift pattern – 0900 – 1700, Monday – Friday.

As an essential part of our team, you’ll deliver high quality, clinically effective patient care at all times. We can offer you a varied caseload including caring for patients receiving Radiotherapy, Systemic Anti‑Cancer Therapies and Supportive Care of Patients during their Cancer Journey. Experience in an Oncology setting is desirable but not essential; candidates must hold an NMC registration to apply and be able to demonstrate that they can work at a highly specialised level.

An expectation of this role is that applicants will either hold or be prepared to work towards a Post Graduate Certificate in Advanced Practice, with Non‑Medical Prescribing as a key module.

Information for candidates

As from 1st April 2026, the Agenda for Change full‑time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part‑time hours will be reduced pro‑rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
