As a Senior Care Worker, you will combine hands-on dementia care with clear leadership on shift, supporting residents with consistency and reassurance while guiding colleagues to maintain high standards of care.
What your role will involve
- Providing senior leadership within a dementia care setting
- Supporting staff to respond confidently to changing needs and behaviours
- Maintaining familiar routines and meaningful daily activities
- Supporting safe medication management and care documentation
- Monitoring wellbeing and responding to subtle changes
- Ensuring clear communication and continuity of care
About you
You are calm, patient and confident in a senior dementia care role. You will hold an SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care and be committed to ongoing professional development. You will be registered with the SSSC, be a PVG Scheme member and have basic IT skills. This post is an Occupational Requirement and requires you to have a Christian faith and work in line with the Christian values of Cross Reach.

As we do our work in Christ's name the job you have applied for requires you to have a Christian faith and be able to work within and uphold our Christian Ethos. This is an Occupational Requirement under Part 1 of Schedule 9 to the Equality Act 2010.
This post requires you to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and undertake the necessary vetting checks. You will also be required to be registered with SSSC and it is your professional responsibility to ensure that you meet the standards and criteria for registration.
