Adult Support Worker​/Night Shift

Overview

Adult Support Worker — ENABLE Glasgow is a community based charity working with adults with learning disabilities and their carers and families in Glasgow. We are recruiting for night shift support workers to join our skilled staff team at our Esmond Street Advanced Support Service in the Yorkhill area. Esmond Street is the only service of its kind in the city, providing a high quality 24/7 supported living service to 22 adults with learning disabilities who are older and/or have advanced needs.

• Assist individuals with their health and wellbeing needs and take an active role in maintaining the safety and security of the home environment, including tasks that support service users to keep their home comfortable and running smoothly.
• Participate in tasks that are supportive to the needs of the service and promote a person-centred approach.

• Experience in residential support work is preferred.
• Hold or be willing to work towards an SVQ Level 3 Qualification.
• All successful candidates are required to join the PVG Scheme (or have updated membership).
• Please note that our night shift roles are 24 hours per week.
