Adult Support Worker

ENABLE Glasgow is a community based charity working with adults with learning disabilities and their carers and families in Glasgow. We are currently recruiting support workers (various hours) to join our skilled staff team at our Esmond Street Advanced Support Service in the Yorkhill area of the city.

Esmond Street is currently the only service of its kind in the city, providing a high quality 24/7 supported living service to 22 adults with learning disabilities who are older and/or have advanced needs.

You will support individuals with all aspects of everyday life, including maintaining health and wellbeing, and assisting with running and maintaining their home. Experience in residential support work is useful but not essential.

• Receiving regular and comprehensive training to give you the tools to do your job
• Being supported by a committed management team who strive to promote and support professional development

Must be available to work on a shift rota basis. You should be willing to work towards an SVQ Level 3 Qualification. Experience in residential support work is useful but not essential.

We have various different weekly hours available (full time is 35 hours p/w), and we also have dedicated night shift positions available.
