Up to £25,518.43 per year (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)
Circle Health Group Decontamination is responsible for the provision of sterile equipment and instrumentation for use in surgical and interventional procedures in hospitals across England and Glasgow. The unit operates 24 hours a day/7 days a week with rotating shifts covering days and nights as required.
We have an opportunity for a Helpdesk Dispatcher to join their team of staff.
This is a Full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required tocover a flexible shift pattern.
Duties of this role include:- You provide a first-class decontamination sterile service to the Operating Theatres, clinical departments and relevant paramedical departments.
- You assist in the answering of calls from customers and preparing/amending tray lists.
- You assist with the ordering and storage of supplies as required.
- You dispatch instruments to various locations as required.
- You assist in the provision of decontamination, checking, assembly, packing, sterilisation and delivery of medical and surgical equipment and sundry items to/for the customer.
- You ensure all equipment is maintained to the required standard of safety.
- You assist the Team Leaders in liaising with departments to ensure supply of items is maintained.
- You report any problems with equipment or instruments to Team leader or Manager.
- You comply with all relevant mandatory training.
- IT Skills/Course.
- Office Skills.
- Ability to work in a team.
