The post is full time 37 hours worked Monday to Friday.
You will have proven secretarial experience with audio typing and a working knowledge of office procedures and IT applications. It is essential that you are an excellent communicator with good interpersonal skills, being able to work on your own, using initiative, as well as working as part of a team. You should have good typing speeds, knowledge of medical terminology and be able to prioritise tasks to enable you to work within a timescale.
Very good organisational skills and flexibility in approach to work are also essential.

As from 1st April 2026, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part time hours will be reduced pro-rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
