Night Care Worker

Overview

As a Night Care Worker with Cross Reach, you’ll bring comfort, dignity and reassurance to older people during the quiet hours of the night. Your presence will help ensure everyone in our care feels safe, respected and supported.

• Providing wakeful night cover as part of a dedicated care team
• Supporting with personal care, mobility and comfort throughout the night
• Responding to any emergencies calmly and efficiently
• Promoting wellbeing through conversation, reassurance and kindness
• Maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment
• Liaising with health professionals and recording accurate care notes

You’re caring, reliable and compassionate. You take time to treat every person with dignity and kindness. Ideally, you’ll hold an SVQ Level 3 in Social Care, or be willing to work towards it with support. You’ll need basic computer skills, SSSC registration and PVG Scheme membership. You’ll also be comfortable working within and upholding our Christian ethos.
