Overview

Seeking a Personal Assistant for Margaret. I am looking for a cover Personal Assistant to help support my mum with daily living in and around her house. This position is specifically to cover for my other PAs when they are on annual leave or off sick.

Margaret is a sociable person who enjoys company and is happy and comfortable at home watching television or having a chat whilst listening to music. You should be friendly, patient, caring and dependable to keep my mum safe and happy  has a good sense of humour and likes someone who can match this. Your role will also include offering companionship and encouragement, helping Margaret continue to enjoy her passions and independence.

• Support with daily medication.
• Help with washing and dressing; make or support making breakfast.
• Ensure safety when moving around the house.
• On some days provide more personal care: bathing, hair washing and light household chores including washing and ironing.

• Friendly, patient, caring and dependable.
• Ability to match Margaret's sense of humour and engage in companionship.
• Support independence and monitor safety; assist someone with limited safety awareness who is unsteady on their feet.
• Experience with personal care is beneficial.
• Driving license is preferred but not essential.

  Cardonald – Southside/Glasgow.
• Hours:
  
  Irregular hours; up to 30 hours per week.
• Hourly rate: £13.60 (gross).
• Household:
  Margaret is a smoker and has a small dog.
