At Nuffield Health, the UK’s largest healthcare charity, everything we give our patients, members and customers would not be possible without you. Your passion, your warmth, your drive to make a difference. Whether it’s driving connected health, helping the nation, transforming experiences, or building the career you want – we give you the support to do it all. Join our journey.
It starts with you.
To look after the nation’s health, we must provide the highest standards of care. That’s why we’re looking for someone who understands how important it is to maintain great relationships while providing the high levels of service in a modern pathology laboratory.
Our highly motivated and talented Pathology team will appreciate your positive and enthusiastic attitude as you deliver quality pathology services. You’ll enjoy a varied range of responsibilities – from performing biomedical diagnostic testing, interpretation and reporting, through to quality control and keeping records of specimens, results, reagents and consumables. What’s more, you’ll help us to validate and assess new equipment and develop new diagnostic procedures, as part of our ongoing quest to deliver the very best experience possible for patients.
It is essential you’re registered with the HCPC and have at least 5 years of experience in Histopathology.

- Support the organisation in validating and assessing new equipment and developing new diagnostic procedures.
- Relevant laboratory experience in Histopathology; multi‑disciplinary biomedical science experience is an advantage.
- Good working knowledge of different analytical equipment in a range of multi‑disciplinary techniques.
- I think referencing 'HCPC registration and at least 5 years of experience in Histopathology' is already fully included above.
- Great communication skills.
- Ability to work well both within a small team and independently.
- Strong customer‑relation focus, providing high levels of service within the pathology laboratory.
We want you to love coming to work, feeling healthy, happy and valued. That’s why we’ve developed a benefits package with you in mind. Choose from a range of fitness, lifestyle, health and wellbeing rewards, such as free gym membership, health assessments, retail discounts and pension options. At Nuffield Health, we take care of what’s important to you.
