A leading global professional services partnership is seeking an experienced Senior International Tax Manager to join its international tax function based in Glasgow.
This is a pivotal role supporting the partnership on complex cross-border tax matters across the EMEA region. The successful candidate will play a central role in managing international tax compliance, advising senior stakeholders, and supporting the firm’s international tax strategy during a period of global expansion.
The position offers the opportunity to work closely with partners and finance leaders across multiple jurisdictions within a highly collaborative international environment.
Key Responsibilities- Lead EMEA tax compliance, overseeing income and corporation tax filings across multiple jurisdictions
- Coordinate with local Finance Managers and external advisers to ensure timely and accurate tax submissionsli>
- Support offices across France, Germany, Belgium, Spain, Luxembourg and Italy
- Assist with the tax set-up and compliance of new entities in Poland and Morocco
- Manage Country-by-Country Reporting (CbCR) requirements
- Support the implementation of OECD Pillar Two regulations
- Provide clear and practical tax guidance to partners and senior stakeholders across the business
- Support a range of international tax advisory and project work, including initiatives linked to the firm’s global combination
- Monitor tax risk and ensure appropriate governance processes are in place
- The role will have a 60% compliance / 40% advisory and project focus
We are interested in speaking with candidates who:
- Have experience within international tax gained in Big 4, Top 10, professional services or a large multinational organisation
- Have exposure to cross-border tax structures and international compliance
- Have experience with Country-by-Country reporting and/or Pillar Two
- Are confident explaining complex tax matters to non-tax stakeholders, including partners and senior management
- Are either a Tax Manager looking to step up into a Senior Manager role, or an existing Senior Manager seeking a broader international remit
- Have experience of, or an interest in developing expertise in partnership taxes
