Group Financial Accountant, Hybrid

Rutherford Cross is delighted to be partnering with a fast‑growing, multi‑entity business operating across the UK, seeking a Group Financial Accountant to join its central finance function. The business is a market leader in its sector and undergoing significant investment and expansion.

In this role, you will support group consolidation, statutory reporting, audit, and tax activities while contributing to the development of best‑practice controls and processes. You will work closely with colleagues across finance, FP&A, and operational teams, gaining exposure to a complex, dynamic environment with strong opportunities for career growth.

• Prepare and manage balance sheet and P&L reporting across group entities
• Consolidate month‑end results within agreed deadlines
• Support statutory accounts preparation for the consolidated group and subsidiaries
• Assist with group audit, bank reporting, VAT and corporation tax requirements
• Reconcile intercompany balances and resolve discrepancies
• Contribute to process improvement and strengthening of financial controls

• Recently qualified accountant (CA/ACA/CIMA) with strong technical skills
• Experience in consolidation and multi‑entity environments is advantageous
• Confident communicator, proactive and comfortable challenging processes
• Strong Excel capability and ability to work with high volumes of data
• Organised, detail‑focused and thrives in a fast‑paced setting

• Circa £55k salary + discretionary bonus
• 30 days holiday
• flexible working (minimum 2 days in office)
