Operations Associate - Credit Sights

Bixby Research & Analytics is currently seeking an Operations/Compliance Associate based out of our Glasgow, UK office.

This is a unique opportunity to join a highly experienced research team within a rapidly growing, fast paced company.

• Develop deep knowledge of the leveraged loan market, which continues to grow in size and weight
• Access to the resources of Fitch, including career advancement opportunities (dependent on exceptional performance)
• Lead the expansion of Bixby’s product into the European market

• Daily Operational/Compliance procedures.
• Work closely with Compliance Manager and senior research staff to manage compliance programs and execute on associated operational processes and control systems.
• Document Management/Categorization.
• Review, revise, and continuously improve upon, existing compliance programs, policies and procedures as necessary to identify risks and stay in line with mandated compliance policies.
• Ability to review own work product to ensure accuracy and completeness in a time-sensitive environment.
• Permission management of document and site access.

• Bachelor’s degree required. A variety of educational histories will be considered for this role, especially those with Accounting/Financial/Legal backgrounds.
• Compliance and operational experience. Specific experience in finance / asset management is strongly preferred.
• Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Adobe PDF skills required.
• Established skills in accuracy, organization, and experience working in a high-volume, time-sensitive environment.
• Ability to manage and execute challenging projects with minimal oversight.
• Possess strong organizational skills, sound judgement and hold highest ethical standards.

• Prior experience with virtual data rooms is preferred.
• General understanding of financial markets is preferred
