Position:
Senior Finance Assistant – Glasgow based (hybrid working). Salary: £40,635 - £44,619 per annum (Review pending). Grade: EVH Grade 7.

WhatYou’ll Do
- Lead and develop Finance Assistants, inspiring and motivating the team.
- Ensure financial ledgers, reconciliations, and banking administration are accurate and up to date.
- Support the Finance Manager with management accounts, variance analysis, and statutory reporting.
- Act as a Super User for key financial systems (e.g., Civica Financials, Sage, Asset Pro).
- Oversee payroll processes, including PAYE, NIC, and P11D returns.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and high-quality customer service.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Experience delivering financial management services and managing workloads to meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in ICT, especially Excel, and knowledge of financial/accounting systems.
- Ability to review and improve financial controls.
- Flexible, positive attitude with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Experience in the RSL or housing sector is desirable but not essential.
