Actuary; Nearly​/Newly Qualified - Financial & Insurance Risk

pmactuarial specialise in Actuarial search within UK Life insurance. We have been asked to find a nearly/newly qualified Actuary for a Glasgow based Insurer.

Working within the financial and insurance risk division, the responsibilities include:

• Deliver of Pillar 2 methodology, models and ORSA results
• Preparing the annual ICARA reporting
• Preparing quarterly risk reporting for submission to Executive and Risk Committees
• In-depth risk assurance around key projects, asset management activities and product development
• Managing the emerging risk identification process
• Supporting the maintenance of the risk management framework, including setting risk appetite and risk policies.

The role would suit an individual who is close to qualifying or has recently qualified. Whilst previous experience of risk would be advantageous, this role is open to those with an interest in this type of work.
