Senior Compliance

Meraki Talent are assisting a Glasgow based client who are looking to appoint a Compliance professional to join a newly established team.

This role sits within the second line of defence and focuses on delivering high-quality testing, thematic reviews, and control assessments across European business lines.

• Plan and deliver independent testing and thematic reviews.
• Assess and challenge first line control frameworks.
• Maintain clear audit trails and produce concise, high-quality reports.
• Track remediation actions and review evidence for closure.
• Share findings with stakeholders and support management information reporting.
• Contribute to improving testing methodologies and the annual testing plan.

• Experience in Compliance within financial services, including control testing or thematic reviews.
• Good understanding of UK regulatory requirements.
• Strong analytical, communication and report-writing skills.
• Knowledge of global markets, banking or securities services is an advantage.
• Confident working independently and supporting junior team members.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with compliance systems.
