Senior Client Service Executive – Barclays
Location:
Glasgow, Scotland, United Kingdom
We are looking for a Senior Client Service Executive to support Private Bank Wealth Management by providing expert knowledge and support to stakeholders, colleagues and leadership. The role is based in Glasgow and will focus on risk, controls, and continuous improvement of client service.
Success Factors- Strong awareness of risk and control to support the completion of high‑value transaction approvals and payment investigations.
- Drive service‑level delivery, change implementation and help embed a culture of continuous improvement.
- Support embedment and upskilling of colleagues and identify opportunities for multi‑skill development.
- Experience holding a senior role within a service centre environment.
- Experience in wealth management sector dealing with clients.
- Awareness of the Consumer Duty framework, including the identification and management of vulnerable clients.
- Collaborate across multiple digital channels to personalise every customer interaction.
- Enhance the bank’s digital capabilities when current technology is not fully mature.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries, resolving issues and handling client requests efficiently.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (sales, operations, risk) to meet client needs and ensure accurate, timely transactions.
- Support business‑operations teams, including risk management, compliance and collections.
- Comply with all regulatory requirements and internal policies related to customer care.
- Perform prescribed activities in a timely manner and to a high standard, continually driving improvement.
- Apply in‑depth technical knowledge and experience in the assigned area of expertise.
- Lead and supervise a team, guiding professional development and allocating resources.
