We are looking for driven individuals to join Forvis Mazars’ Audit team as an Apprentice in our Mid‑Markets practice, where we support privately owned businesses across the UK.

Our Mid‑Markets team focuses on privately owned businesses. In the UK we support over 13,000 of them, ranging from entrepreneurial start‑ups to multi‑million‑pound turnover international groups.

About the Role

As an apprentice, you will undertake a four‑year training contract, developing into a fully qualified audit professional.

Years 1 and 2
  • Master the art of auditing:
    Learn to prepare meticulous audit documents using the latest software and methodologies.
  • Financial statements:
    Develop a deep understanding of balance sheets, income statements and cash flows.
  • Work side‑by‑side with clients:
    Immerse yourself in diverse companies to understand their operations, challenges and unique circumstances.
  • Build relationships:
    Connect with key stakeholders with our clients and across service lines.
Years 3 and 4

Progress to complex audit work such as revenue recognition, valuation and risk assessments. You will take the lead on engagement delivery, mentor junior team members and join us as a permanent employee.

  • On track or obtained A‑level, BTEC or equivalent qualifications with strong academic performance.

Learning and Development

Fully funded professional qualification: ICAS.
