🚀 New Business Sales Manager – iGaming, Casino & Sports Betting 💷 up to £60,000 basic + £60,000 OTE (uncapped)
A high-growth international payments business is expanding its iGaming, Casino and Sports Betting division and is hiring a proven new business sales professional to win and onboard high-value merchants.
This is a pure hunter role — opening doors, building relationships, and closing payment partnerships across one of the most commercially rewarding sectors in fintech.
You’ll be selling regulated payment solutions to operators, platforms, PSPs, affiliates and gateways, helping them improve payment performance, acceptance rates, and global reach.
This role offers genuine £120k+ earning potential and the opportunity to play a key part in scaling a fast-growing international business.
Role OverviewWe are seeking a high-performing Sales Manager with a proven track record selling payment solutions into the iGaming, online casino, sports book, forex, CFD, and other high-risk verticals.
This role is focused on acquiring and scaling relationships with high-risk merchants, particularly within the iGaming and gambling ecosystem, driving revenue growth through digital wallets, card acquiring, alternative payment methods (APMs), and withdrawal solutions.
The ideal candidate has direct experience working within a PSP, fintech, acquirer, or high-risk payments provider and understands the commercial, compliance, and operational nuances of onboarding and scaling regulated and grey-market gambling operators.
Core Responsibilities- Identify, target, and close iGaming operators, online casinos, sports books, and gambling platforms
- Drive new business within high-risk verticals including:
- iGaming & Online Casino
- Sports Betting
- Forex & CFD Trading
- Crypto Exchanges
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation through negotiation and contract execution
- Build tailored, multi-jurisdiction payment propositions based on:
- Regulatory landscape
- Geographic footprint
- Player acquisition model
- Sell and structure payment solutions including:
- Digital wallets
- Alternative payment methods (local APMs)
- Payout & withdrawal solutions
- Structure commercial models including pricing, rolling reserves, commissions, and risk-based fee structures
- Work closely with Risk, Compliance, AML, KYC/KYB, and Onboarding teams to ensure smooth integration
- Navigate high-risk underwriting processes and complex onboarding requirements
- Act as the primary commercial point of contact for VIP merchants and strategic partners
- Develop long-term C-level relationships (CEO, Head of Payments, COO, Compliance)
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities across regions and products
- Build and expand referral and partner networks (aggregators, payment orchestrators, consultants, affiliate networks)
- Maintain deep knowledge of the iGaming and gambling payments ecosystem
- Understand licensing structures (UKGC, MGA, Curacao, etc.)
- Represent the business at:
- iGaming expos
- Forex expos
- Provide strategic feedback to product and leadership teams on market trends and competitive positioning
- Number of new iGaming / gambling merchants onboarded
- Revenue contribution from high-risk verticals
- Pipeline growth and conversion rates
- VIP merchant retention and expansion
- 3+ years B2B sales experience within:
- PSP / Payments / Fintech / Acquiring
- Proven experience selling into:
- iGaming
- Gambling / betting operators
- Full sales cycle ownership
- Experience negotiating commercial terms in high-risk environments
- Strong understanding of:
- AML / KYC / KYB processes
- High-risk underwriting
- Cross-border payment flows
- Existing network within iGaming or gambling operators
- Experience managing VIP merchants
- Background in both merchant acquisition and account management
- Experience contributing significant % of team revenue
- Multilingual (EU / CIS languages advantageous)
- Highly independent revenue driver
- Comfortable building and scaling a vertical from scratch
- Consultative and solution-led seller
- Comfortable representing the business internationally
- Significant earnings potential beyond OTE
