A UKAS accredited outfit has recently won new residential and commercial contracts in the central belt of Scotland. Due to the recent expansion, they are seeking a qualified Asbestos Surveyor who will be responsible for conducting the full range of asbestos surveys, and providing technical advice to clients. Applicants must be comfortable articulating technical matters and will be able to demonstrate robust industry experience.

The successful candidate can expect competitive salaries and benefits packages.

You will be travelling across:
Glasgow, East Kilbride, Giffnock, Barrhead, Cambuslang, Bellshill, Airdrie, Wishaw, Blantyre, Stonehouse, Larkhall, Carluke, Whitburn, Bathgate, Shotts, Cumbernauld, Croy, Falkirk, Stirling, Bishopbriggs, Lennoxtown, Renfrew, Clydebank, Paisley, Johnstone, Beith, Kilmarnock, Galston, Irvine.

Experience /

Qualifications:

* Proven track record working as an Asbestos Surveyor within a UKAS accredited company

* Must hold the BOHS P402 or RSPH Level 3 in Asbestos Surveying

* Robust technical knowledge, including: HSG 264 guidelines

* Signed off to complete the full range of asbestos surveys

* Flexible to travel in line with client requirements

* Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills

The Role:

* Conducting management, refurbishment and demolition asbestos surveys

* Completing re-inspection surveys when required

* Safely obtaining samples for analysis

* Writing comprehensive survey reports, including floor plans / drawings

* Wearing correct PPE when on site

* Representing the company in a professional manner

* Working to agreed deadlines

* Providing tailored technical advice to clients
