The Role

You will support the internal sales and estimating function while developing the technical and commercial knowledge required to progress into sales.

Key involvement includes:
  • Assisting with points lists and project estimates
  • Subcontractor pricing and vetting
  • Reviewing enquiries for technical and commercial compliance
  • Updating quotations in line with current pricing
  • Supporting tender and bid submissions
Responsibilities
  • Supporting targeting of consultants, contractors, and end users
  • Assisting with technical presentations and product promotion
  • Producing small T&M quotations (£50-£10K)
  • Supporting estimates for projects from £10K-£2M
  • Preparing technical enquiry documents
  • Providing sales activity reports and forecasts
  • Tracking enquiries, leads, and bids
  • Maintaining high customer service standards
  • Working in line with Health & Safety requirements
Skills & Experience
  • Experience in a similar role desirable but not essential
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Able to work independently and within a team
  • Self-motivated and accountable
  • Strong communication and customer focus
  • Understanding of safe systems of work and H&S importance
