Grid Services and Compliance Engineer

Overview

Divisional Manager Onshore Renewables - United Kingdom, Ireland, Italy & Greece. This role sits within the asset function, leading grid-related responsibilities across the portfolio and ensuring full compliance with grid code requirements.

This position falls within the asset function, working closely with the advisory teams, asset managers and routes to market functions. This role is client facing, working hands on with asset-led grid strategy.

The main focus will be to lead all grid-related responsibilities across the asset portfolio and ensure operations comply with grid code requirements.

• Develop, review, and enhance the grid strategy for renewable assets in the Asset Management portfolio.
• Monitor and respond to changes in grid regulation, policies, and ancillary services.
• Collaborate with stakeholders including Route to Markets, Energy networks and other internal and external teams.
• Act as the first point of contact for all grid connection and compliance queries.

We are looking for someone skilled and experienced with UK grid codes and ancillary services.

• Experience working with grid ancillary services and grid asset responsibilities.
• Understanding of the UK grid network.
