Wastewater Network Modeller

The Opportunity

Make a splash in the water sector at Stantec, leading the way on challenging projects across multiple AMP cycles. We are supporting a diverse portfolio across 2025 and beyond with a focus on innovative solutions such as wetlands to reduce carbon emissions and catchment strategies to minimise storm overflows. This role is based in Glasgow with hybrid working arrangements.

You will provide technical input to projects including stormwater overflows, model maintenance and water management, while assisting with bids and the preparation of cost estimates within our project frameworks. You will also take part in planning, programming, and coordinating urban drainage projects, ensuring delivery excellence, technical governance, and best practices.

You will receive expert guidance from your local team and the wider Stantec community, with our Storm Overflows Academy helping to equip you with the skills to excel. This is a great opportunity to join an ambitious and innovative team of engineers working on a specialist modelling framework while contributing to industry-leading projects.

This role is based from our offices in Glasgow with hybrid working arrangements in place.

Stantec H2O+U - UK

To be considered, you must be degree qualified and ideally be a member of an industry-relevant institution (e.g., ICE, CIWEM). You will demonstrate technical experience in a wide range of wastewater modelling activities and a working knowledge of Info Works ICM and other relevant modelling and GIS packages. Excellent communication skills (report writing, presentations, and industry networking) are important, and you should embody our values of client focus and service excellence.
